*WWE Superstars comes back from commercial and Josh Matthews is shaking his head staring at Michael Cole who has fallen dead asleep. Josh throws his hands partway into the air and starts to offer an apology to the WWE Universe.*
Josh Matthews: Welcome back to WWE Superstars ladies and gentleman. Um, I must apologize for my partner's lack of enthusiasm during the last match between "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters and Daniel Bryan. But this gives me the unique and great pleasure to announce the return to our own announce team one of the loveliest ladies in the world, Smackdown's own MARIA KANELLIS!!
*The cameras switch backstage to Maria's sweet smile as she's holding a mic for about ten seconds not taking her cue in time, but then she starts suddenly.*
Maria: Thank you guys! It's great to be back and I'd like for you all to please welcome my guest at this time, John Cena!
*Cena walks into the camera view smiling as a mix of cheers and boos can be heard from the arena's seats. Maria looks as if she is going to ask a question but Cena gentlemanly holds up a hand as if asking her permission to go first. Maria points the mic at the Chain Gang Commander deferring to him. *
John Cena: Well, well, well, Miss Maria Kanellis. I have got to tell you it is DAMN good to see you back in World Wrestling Entertainment. For awhile I was afraid that I would only have that copy of Playboy that you did to uh, I mean, you gave a hell of an interview in there! I remember when you were here ad Mr McMahon tried to do a trial and they brought you in a material witness and you busted out with this LONG testimony that dropped everyone's jaws simultaneously. But then the WWE didn't renew your contract. And for a long time now we've been deprived of your beauty, and and everything else you bring to the table .But now YOU'RE BACK! *The crowd erupts in the arena as Maria sheepishly blushes and smiles widely.* Now, yes the rumors were true, my contract was coming up and there has been some "issues" with it. But you see, I'm the kind of person that I prefer to take care of the quote/unquote "backstage stuff" while I'm backstage. When I'm out here in front of the WWE Universe, aside from the occasional interview with an incredibly sexy Diva, I am mainly out here to beat someone's ass most of the time! But, the contract dispute as it were was settled. You're asking how it feels to finally have that little contract all settled to now where the CeNation knows that I'm going to be around for a very, very, VERY long time? Well, Maria, I know you haven't been around for quite a while but since you were last here as a WWE Diva, I really have not changed all that much, and one of those areas that I haven't changed in is that I am STILL a man who prefers to let his actions speak much louder than his words. So how do I feel about being here again?
*Cena leans down and takes Maria's face into the palms of his hands and proceeds to deeply kiss her as all of the women in the audience gasp in instant jealousy over the Playboy cover model. After a minute Cena draws back and they both proceed to try to straighten up.*
Cena: Yeah, um, anyway, uh, well? I seem for once in my life to be at a loss for words.
*Maria looking like a hot mess with the emphasis on hot, stares back at him. When she speaks her voice is a lot deeper and smokier as if a sultry vixen was just let out.*
Maria Kanellis: I believe we were expressing in actions how glad we are to see the other...
*Maria immediately starts to lean in for another kiss. John stops her.*
John Cena: Whoa, there, Maria! Don't get me wrong at ALL. This are some actions that I definitely am into pursuing, but I have a feeling that if we express any more gratitude that this may not totally be the PG rated show that people have come to know and love, and we can't have that now can we?
*Maria looks down and disappointed at for a second. John puts his finger under her chin and lifts it up slowly and then puts his lips close to her ear and whispers that there's always after the show after the cameras go off. Maria smiles again and John turns and acts shocked to see the camera and then leans in to the camera away from Maria.*
John Cena: *to camera* You all didn't catch that did you? *John gets a half scared look on his face and then continues...* Let's just keep this between us. *Then John stands back up fully as the interview continues.*
Maria: Who do you think your first opponent will be? Do you have your eye on facing anyone in particular or maybe another run at the WWE Championship?
John Cena: I think everyone's got their eyes set on the big prize. If you don't you shouldn't be here. But be that as it may, we've got alot of new competition around here already. Guys like Robert Roode. I've seen with another company and the guy can go with the best of them. I'm sure Robert and I whether on the same side or opposite sides will find ourselves in the ring together. The guys just too good not to have on the main event level. And very few people in that locker room know Triple H the way I do. And I know that Hunter will do everything in his power, which at this point is pretty friggin considerable, to sign and bring in all of the best talents from around the world. This is a damn exciting time to not only be a WWE Superstar but a fan of the WWE. And I should know. I am one. If I'm not in here beating the holy hell out of someone, you can be sure I'm going to be watching these new guys put on the show of their lives. So really, it doesn't matter who I fight first. I know the list to fight John Cena is going to be a long one so NOW SERVING NUMBER ONE!! And number two, you better get your affairs in order because I don't intend on pussy footing and playing around with whoever my first opponent is. And there's always gonna be room on my fight card so you know the mantra: if you want some, COME ...GET ...SOME!!
*John walks away as Maria is left is left breathless in more ways than one. When everyone realizes she is unable to fully do the outro, the technical director instantly cuts to commercial.*
