It Begins
Scene 1
Empty arena of the first ever Monday Night Raw in the PWI, hours before the crowd is set to enter.

It’s almost scary, such a large space, almost twenty thousand empty seats, each one of them carefully positioned, waiting to be filled with the excitement that every single PWI fan brings. In just a few hours this large room will be packed with thousands of people, all of them cheering on their favourite superstars… John Cena…. CM Punk…. And Chris Jericho, three titans, all fighting for the same thing, a shot at becoming the very first PWI World Champion. The latter of those three titans is stood inside an empty ring, the very same ring that he will be stood in not too long from now, fighting with all his heart and passion, trying to overcome the two obstacles that stand in his way.

Jericho stands in the centre of the ring, turning, examining every empty seat in the arena, he can almost hear it already, those thousands, screaming ‘Y2J’ never quitting, willing and wishing that their hero can once again achieve his dream. He looks down at his T Shirt, three letters spread across it, P-W-I, before beginning to speak.

Y2J

“This is it. This is the dawning of a new era, tonight history is made, PWI’s first ever edition of Monday Night RAW, so I think what I’m about to say next is only fitting… Welcome to… Raw Is Jericho”

Jericho pauses for a moment, taking in the sheer size of the arena He is going to fill in such a short while.

Y2J

“Every single one of those chairs holds a story, the feelings and experiences of a fan, the excitement that They feel when they are in attendance to something truly historical. Tonight these chairs will learn a new story, a new experience, tonight they will Feel the excitement that only the PWI universe can provide, each and every one of them will see Y2J, The Man himself, and they will chant, in unison, in rhythm, my name, Chris Jericho. They will chant it when my music plays and I walk to the ring. They will chant it when I nail the code breaker. They will chant it when I lock in the Walls of Jericho. And they will chant it when my arm is raised and I advance to the final for the right to fight for the PWI title.

Tonight I give the people what they want, what they always want, Y2J in a wrestling ring, exciting, delighting, fighting. They will see me doing those things, not against one man, but against two. They will see me square off with CM Punk, and with John Cena.”

Jericho pauses for a minute and lets out a little chuckle, rubbing his nose as he does it.

Y2J

“John Cena, the legend himself, tonight Cena me and you will square off.

The Man of A Thousand And Four Moves verses The Man Of Five
THE SEXY BEAST HIMSELF Verses THE CHAMP
Cena, you and I are the biggest names in this business and tonight we battle each other in the ring, you keep talking about shutting up and fighting, yet you haven’t fought a single person yet and you damn sure haven’t shut up. You claim that You are the CHAMP, yet you don’t have a belt around your waste, You told the entire locker room that if they wanted some, that they should come and get some, well Cena, I want some, and I will get some.

BUT. Not forgetting, there is a third man in this match, CM Punk. Punk not too long ago you approached me, and you offered your hand in friendship, and I accepted, why? Because that’s just the type of guy I am, you respect me, perhaps I’ll respect you. But Punk, there’s something you need to know, something that after tonight, you will never forget… when it comes down to it, if you stand in my way, if you oppose me or even get in my eyeline when I’m staring at the PWI Championship, I WILL take you down, I won’t hesitate, I will run up to you, and NAIL the Codebreaker, and then when your bloody face is broken on the mat, I will get those straight edge legs of yours, I will lock on the walls of Jericho, and I’ll pull, I’ll pull until one of two things happen, either you tap or… I break your back.”

Jericho looks around once more, making his way over to the ropes and leaning on them, staring into the field of empty seats.

Y2J

“This day is the beginning of a new era, no not the era of PWI, but the era of Y2J. This day will see Chris Jericho walk out of that ramp, electrify the Jerichoholics in attendance and become number one contender, and after this day, John Cena, CM Punk, PWI, This entire fricken’ industry itself, will never… EVVVERR be the same again.”
